From the wasteland that exemplifies the ultimate definition of the term “Middle Of Nowhere” like no other spot on earth and goes by the name of “Iowa”, they set out some time ago with only one common goal: The attainment of absolute world domination. 

Now Slipknot – nine unpredictable, not necessarily happy-go-lucky characters who couldn’t be more different – are on the verge of achieving the goal they set for themselves. Equipped with an arsenal of musical rages previously unknown in this form, which live on bloodcurdling screams, precisely hammered drum parts, sawing guitar riffs, abstruse scratches, skilfully inserted samples and the necessary modicum of melody, and never come across predictable.
A full ten years later, “Iowa” has now reached gold status in this country and the album is one of the metal milestones of the decade!
