The Nord Electro 6 combines our award-winning emulations of vintage electro mechanical and acoustic instruments in an ultra-portable package.

They are pleased to announce the most potent and adaptable Electro ever—a polished modern classic—with three separate sound sections, a redesigned user interface, and the addition of seamless transitions.

The Nord Electro 6 has smooth, automatic transitions when it switches between sounds or programs while it is playing. Layer and sophisticated Split features 

The panel features three separate sound portions that can be utilized as a split or layer simultaneously: the organ, piano, and sample synth. For seamless transitions between two split zones, it has six split points in addition to the new Split Point Crossfade capabilities that was included with Stage 3. Three distinct crossfade widths (Small, Large, or Off) are available, each denoted by a different LED hue. Program section refinement.

With the help of the convenient Organize mode, which includes Copy/Paste and Move capability, you can rapidly arrange your programs in the preferred order in the newly streamlined Program area. You may now sort and arrange pages as easy as a music list with a new Page View. 

With its alphabetical, numerical, and category sorting options, the new List View makes it simple to explore through all of the programs, pianos, and synth samples. 

Organ Section

Together with two pipe organ models, the Nord Electro 6 includes their critically acclaimed Nord C2D Organ simulations of the B3 Tonewheel, B3 Bass, and Vintage Transistor Organs. B3 Tonewheel Emulations

Our highly praised Nord C2D Organ engine, with its incredibly realistic B3 Tonewheel emulation and four distinct tone wheel settings—from brand-new, spotless to dripping old—is featured in the Organ section. 

There are currently two distinct Pipe Organ models in the Organ section. The new Pipe 1 has few harmonics and is a pure organ. When Vibrato/Chorus is enabled, the Pipe 2, which was first released alongside the Electro 5, features a unique new detune mode. The Pipe 2 is a replica of the metal pipes that typically comprise the backbone of a pipe or church organ.

Dual Organ Mode

The dedicated new Dual Organ mode provides quick access to dual manual setups and offers great overview and control of the drawbar settings for both the Lower and Upper manual.

Vintage Rotary Speaker

The Nord Electro 6 boasts a drive control, Slow, Fast, and Stop modes, and the most recent iteration of our classic 122 Rotary Speaker emulation, which adds a crucial character to a live organ performance. The Nord Half-moon Switch is compatible with the Electro 6D 61 and 73 (optional item)

Physical Drawbars for Electro 6D 61/73 

For those who are passionate about playing organ, the Physical Drawbars on the Electro 6D 61 and 73 provide the best possible hands-on experience. Digital LED Drawbars on the Electro 6 HP provide a great overview of the current settings.

The Piano section has a wide selection of acoustic, electric and digital pianos from the exclusive Nord Piano Library, extended voice polyphony and creative new Piano Filters

Factory Bank

A wide range of their most recent grand pianos, upright pianos, electric pianos, and digital pianos from the exclusive Nord Piano Library are available in the Nord Electro 6 factory bank; each one was carefully chosen for its distinct personality! Their new “Layer” category with rich, dynamic layered patches is also available in the piano area.

Replaceable sounds

The Nord Sound Manager makes it simple to add or remove any of the sounds that are included in the Factory Bank, which has a fantastic selection from the Nord Piano Library. New, premium sounds are added to our vast Nord Piano Library on a regular basis, and it’s always free.

Piano Filters

Providing an additional level of sonic control, the Piano Section now features dedicated piano filters for accentuating softness, mid or brilliance.

Soft Release

A Soft Release-mode adds a slightly longer release, more suitable for legato playing, emulating a looser damper tension in an acoustic or an electromechanical instrument.

Dynamic Curves

4 dynamic curves are available to suit your playing style, from soft to hard.

Sample Synth Section

The enhanced Sample Synth Section features expanded memory for the Nord Sample Library 3.0 and extended polyphony. 

The Sample Synth Section contains a broad selection of high quality sounds from the Nord Sample Library 3.0 including the exclusively licensed sounds of the legendary Mellotron and Chamberlin.

Essential settings for attack, decay/release, and dynamics (filter/velocity) are included with the Sample Synth. Using the free Nord Sample Editor program for Windows and Mac, you can make your own samples thanks to a special feature of Nord.

Effect Section

The robust Effect section offers a large selection of quickly adjustable, excellent effects that are modeled like vintage stomp boxes. Every effect is stereo and can be freely placed in the sections for the organ, piano, or synth.

Effect 1

Tremolo, two Wahs, an Auto-Wah, and an AutoPan are the options available to you here. For raw funk licks, use the AutoWah with a Clavinet; for a psychedelic sound, use an Electric Piano on AutoPan; and for a Wurlitzer, use the Tremolo to add body. Additionally, a Ring Modulator—an effect that many electronic and experimental musicians use—is included.

Effect 2

The two Phasers, two Choruses, the Flanger and a Vibe effect are modeled from the classic analog stomp boxes that define the sound of popular music. Amp Sim/Compressor/Rotary

A 3-band Equalizer with sweepable mid.Delay

The Nord Electro 6 has three different Reverb types (Hall, Stage and Room) for adding some ambience to your sounds. All Reverb types also has a Bright mode.
