This instrument is the perfect match for contemporary metal and is as inventive as your playing.The SC JS22Q has a bolt-on maple speed neck with graphite reinforcement and scarf joint, a poplar body with a quilt maple art-grain top, and a little shorter scale length (24.75″) than the majority of our six-string guitars. The 12″-16″ compound radius amaranth fingerboard is made for flexible playing; it flattens out for smoking leads without fretting out during bends and is curved for simple chord playing close to the nut. 

For precise string action and spacing, the Jackson compound radius compensated bridge precisely matches the radius of the fingerboard, ensuring that chords remain in tune across the neck.
