The smooth offset poplar body and bolt-on maple neck offer a sturdy base, and the 12″–16″ compound radius bound amaranth fingerboard facilitates fret-out-free soloing and simple chording. 22 large frets.
With its high-output Jackson humbuckers, the Surfcaster is brimming with attitude and ready to provide the rich, distorted tones that established the Jackson legend. With just one tone and volume control on this six-string instrument, simplicity is king. A sturdy Jackson’s hardtail bridge is also included with the Surfcaster to maintain precise setup and stable tuning.
