The SC JS22 has a bolt-on maple speed neck with graphite reinforcement and scarf joint, and a mahogany body. Its scale length is somewhat shorter (24.75″) than most of our six-string guitars. The 12″-16″ compound radius amaranth fingerboard is curved for comfortable chord playing close to the nut and flattens out so that blazing leads may be played without worrying about fretting out when bending. It is designed to allow for flexible playing. The anchored tailpiece guarantees chord tonality all the way down the neck, and the compensated and adjustable Jackson bridge precisely matches the radius of the fingerboard for precise string movement and spacing.

The bridge and neck positions of two Jackson high-output humbucking pickups produce distinct tone with an abundance of girth necessary for modern genres. A three-way toggle switch, a single volume control, and tone controls channel the pickups’ clean, crisp tone, creating a versatile sound that fits any playing environment and can cut through a thick mix to accent your performance.
