On June 17, 2022, 50 years and one day after the original release date in the UK, “The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars” has been released as a limited anniversary LP (50th Anniversary Half-Speed Mastered LP) and as a picture disc with the same master and a replica of the promotional poster for the album. This re-pressing of “The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars” was cut from the restored 192kHz masters of the original Trident Studios master tapes on a custom Neumann VMS80 cutting machine with fully reworked electronics, with no additional processing during transfer. The Halfspeed was edited by John Webber at AIR Studios.
